Rehearsal ; lighting and blocking on stage.
For the performance, the stage was set as shown above. It was like an elongated u shape with a table and two chairs at one end a single chair on the other and a bench at stage right in-front of the protruding part of the stage. Although not shown in the picture, there was two exits either side of the stage and one curtain entrance and exit at the back. It was fun and interesting to use the minimalistic set because you can really create a good scene without much material. This unit we were mainly focusing on our acting and how we can show the audience where we were/what we were doing and who we were through the dialogue and performance. When we did Macbeth however, we had backdrops and costume to clearly show where we were and who we were. This time around, we were all in black which was also mainly because the scenes were too short to transition costume, but we thought if we were going to go minimal why not go throughout; we thought that it was a good idea because the play...
